As Senior Accountant for DATAllegro, you will manage the monthly close and the preparation and accuracy of the company's financial accounting records. DATAllegro is a venture capital funded startup in southern Orange County producing patent pending, high performance data warehouse appliances. We are committed to providing a total solution for large scale data warehouses that greatly exceeds current price / performance barriers by exploring new technologies and new approaches to current problems. As Senior Accountant for DATAllegro, you will be based at our headquarters in Aliso Viejo, CA. You will be working side by side with our Controller to ensure timely and accurate financial records. Broad accounting experience will be immensely helpful as you will be responsible for a wide range of entities including A/P, A/R, cash management, fixed assets, account reconciliations, and both monthly and quarterly financial reporting, although we are willing to train you in areas in which you are less knowledgeable. A strong grasp of GAAP acquired from either a public accounting or corporate setting will enable you to appropriately apply rules to DATAllegro's transactions. We're not only looking for a number cruncher -- excellent interpersonal and communication skills will also be an important factor in your success.
