As one of our San Francisco-based Senior Tax Associates, your first objective will be to provide excellent client service in terms of technical analysis, research and writing. Your ability to prepare consolidated federal tax and state tax returns, as well as tax estimates and tax provisions, will be fundamental to your success. On assigned projects you will take responsibility for accurate and timely tax provision calculation and, when necessary, will interact with the IRS or state auditors. On the international front, project assignments to which you may contribute can range from a review of transfer pricing methodology, investigating what tax events would be triggered by reorganizing holding companies and moving subsidiaries, and analyzing the emerging trends and regulations on expense reimbursement between countries. This is an ideal role for someone with 1 to 3 years experience in a public accounting firm looking to have a more direct impact as well as to quickly broaden their skill sets.
