The company, which has 2,500 representatives across the country, hired 658 new representatives in 2005. Its current recruitment drive is part of an effort to strengthen services to its roughly 3 million members, and to ''expand more deeply into relationships with Lutherans and their families,'' the firm said. A spokesperson told jobsinthemoney.com the positions were roughly evenly split between new positions and replacements for representatives who had left the company.
Hiring is being done through Thrivent's 30 regional financial offices.
