The company, which has 2,500 representatives across the country, hired 658 new representatives in 2005. Its current recruitment drive is part of an effort to strengthen services to its roughly 3 million members, and to ''expand more deeply into relationships with Lutherans and their families,'' the firm said. Hiring is being done through Thrivent's 30 regional financial offices.
